PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information We Collect

To build your interactive website invitation card, we collect the details you submit to us (typically via WhatsApp or email). This includes couple names, Contact number, Email, event dates, ceremony timings, Google Maps location links, background music selections and photos for the galleries. This may include photos of children for birthday or family events, handled with the same care as all other photos described in this policy. Use of our services is also governed by our Terms of Service.

2. Photos of Children

For birthday or family cards that include photos of a child, these photos must be shared with us by the parent or guardian via email, along with a clear written line in that same email confirming they are the parent/guardian and consent to the child's photo being used on the invitation card. We do not accept or process a child's photo submitted any other way, and we do not collect any information directly from a child.

3. How Your Photos & Data Are Handled

All event photos and schedule information you provide are hosted on the web link for your digital invitation card. We do not share your photos or event details with unrelated third parties.

Payments for our services are processed by a third-party payment gateway or via direct UPI/bank transfer. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank account details on our own systems - such payment information is handled directly by the payment provider under its own privacy and security practices.

4. Website Analytics

We use a privacy-first, cookie-less analytics tool. This tool does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot personally identify you.

5. Background Music

Cards with background music use an embedded YouTube player. Opening the card connects the guest's browser to YouTube, which may set cookies and collect technical data under Google's privacy policy. We neither control nor receive that data. On request we can host your music file directly instead, avoiding YouTube entirely - this requires a track you hold the rights to use.

6. Visibility of the Live Invitation Card

Please note that your digital invitation card is hosted on a public web link (e.g., invitedigi.vercel.app/name-weds-name) so that your guests can access it easily without needing logins. Anyone who has access to this web link will be able to view the invitation details and images.

7. Deletion & Data Retention

Once your wedding or event is completed, contact us on WhatsApp to request takedown. We will deactivate your live link and delete your uploaded photos. Full deactivation and image removal can take anywhere from a few days up to a few weeks depending on our workload at the time of your request.

For audit, dispute-resolution and internal record-keeping purposes (for example verifying past orders or resolving billing queries), we retain basic order details such as the couple or host name, contact number and event date in our internal records even after your link is deactivated. This information is no longer publicly visible once the link is taken down.

8. Your Rights & Grievance Redressal

You may request withdrawal of consent at any time by writing to us. On withdrawal, we will stop further processing of new requests and deactivate your live link, but this will not affect the lawfulness of anything already done before withdrawal and does not entitle you to a refund (see our Refund Policy).

You may also request correction of your details or removal of your photos and details from your live card and our active records. We will action such requests within a reasonable time, subject to our operational workload. For technical and administrative reasons, some data may not be immediately or completely removed from all our systems and we may retain minimal order data as described in Deletion & Data Retention above.

For any data-related concern, write to us at the contact details on our Contact page or on WhatsApp. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Data Breach Notification

If we become aware of a personal data breach that materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and the relevant authority as required under applicable law, based on the nature and severity of the breach and the information available to us at the time. We do not guarantee real-time detection of every possible breach and our notification obligation arises only once we have actual knowledge of an incident.
